The art of containment is one of the most critical pieces of information flow known to man. Think about it. When information needs to be presented, it must be presented both clearly and concisely. If the information is not communicated, then the message becomes a great big game of telephone.

The art of containment is one of the most critical pieces of information flow known to man. Think about it. When information needs to be presented, it must be presented both clear and concise. If the information is not clearly communicated, then the message becomes a great big game of telephone. Information is energy. Think of the amount of information that can be communicated at the blink of an eye at quantum speed. Information can now be sent at such high rates of speed that people across the world can access it in a split second. With one touch of a button, information flows though the funnel of containment. As with any basic example, if there is no form of containment, there is unrestricted flow. All else being equal, the instrument that restricts the flow of information must be adequate enough to fulfill the desired end goal of the source of it. How do we validate that the instrument is able to satisfy the need to contain it? The key to everything is clarity. The water must take the shape of the pipe through which it flows – Genevieve Behrand The pipe is the instrument, the information is the water… If the person who decides to buy a pipe invests in the wrong type or diameter, the water will not deliver in the proper time. In addition, without the correct type of material, there may be leaks or cracks that restrict the flow more than was intended. We can draw one conclusion based on this understanding… When a leader is chosen to be the instrument of information flow between two points, who is responsible for the material chosen? Did the leader invest in the wrong material? Who is directly responsible for investing in the wrong pipe? Is it the pipe, or the person who brought it? Food for thought. Accountability is priceless
